Waiting in the Wings

For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.

Watch Your Triumph Unfold

Heard and saw 07/31/2017: I saw a drawing of a man in a yellow shirt. His arms were raised to the sky victoriously. Season’s change. Rise up.

From past experience, I often connect the color yellow in visions and dreams to the Spirit of Understanding:

Isaiah 11:2 (NKJV) The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.

Daniel 5:14 (NKJV) I have heard of you, that the Spirit of God [is] in you, and [that] light and understanding and excellent wisdom are found in you.

This morning I was praying about some matters, and I was surprised when the subject of understanding came up again. I was praying concerning broken relationships, some with family and some with friends. I was meditating on Scripture and seeking understanding that I might know how to respond in the areas where there is still division and unresolved hurt. I wanted to know if there was something I was supposed to do or say to bring a shift or bring repair. As I was grieving before the Lord, He spoke Proverbs 3:5-6: Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

Then He said to me, “I have a path for you to follow and it leads into a good and large land.”

I have to admit that I am one who will keep trying over and over to fix something when it’s broken, particularly relationships. In the last two years, God has really been teaching me that although it is good for us to have a heart for restoration, it doesn’t always happen when and how we expect. And if we persist to focus our energies on it, it can actually hinder and delay us in our own mission. Victory usually comes when we let go and lean not on our own understanding, and instead, lean upon God’s. He has a perspective on our lives that we do not have. He calls us to trust in His path for our lives and the promises in His Word. This means leaving the results and the timing in His hands, forgetting what is behind and reaching forward to the things ahead.

The Wind in Your Sails

In a vision, I saw a woman standing upon what felt like a small island. I saw her from about her mid back upward, as she faced the clear blue waters. She was wearing a bikini and I sensed this meant she had been “Son-bathing” or “soaking up the Son”. There was a sailboat slowly sailing by her with no one in it. I sensed this woman’s determination to investigate this strange sight. She walked forward and actually walked on the water. This seemed like nothing to her, as if this was something she always did! Then she got into the boat and sat down. I didn’t see Yeshua in the boat but I strongly felt that He was there. The sail of the boat unfurled and the wind immediately caught in the sail. The boat took off. I wondered why I felt Yeshua but didn’t see Him. Then I heard Him say, “I’m here. I’m the wind in your sails.”

Recently, the Lord has been drawing my attention to the concept of parousia, His coming or presence. I remember learning about the word on The Quickened Word a long while ago but didn’t know much about it. When I looked it up in the article called Straightway Airlifted by My Wind, I was surprised that sailboat was connected to it, for I have been repeatedly quickened to sailboats in the last two weeks.

Mark 6:45 (NKJV) And straightway he constrained his disciples to get into the ship, and to go to the other side before unto Bethsaida, while he sent away the people.

This process of being drawn to the concept of parousia through God’s breadcrumbs to me also reminded me of the woman in this vision. I sensed this sight of a sailboat with no occupant in it was a curious sight to her. It reminded me of Moses and the burning bush, how such a curious sight caused Him to turn aside and investigate. This one moment that stirred his curiosity was life-changing for Moses, and in effect became life-changing for all the children of Israel. It was his launching point.

As for the woman walking on water, I am reminded of the song Oceans (Where Feet May Fail):

You call me out upon the waters
The great unknown where feet may fail
And there I find You in the mystery
In oceans deep
My faith will stand

Whatever God may be drawing you aside to in this season, it is well worth turning aside and investigating the mystery! In fact, this point in time might be life-changing for you! Let faith and a childlike curiosity draw you out into the unknown. Christ will be there to meet you and launch you forward!

I AM Falling for You

The other day, as I was in the kitchen cooking, a song rose up in my spirit about the River of Life. This song rang in my spiritual ears and I felt the heart of the Lord. Just like in my recent experience (which I shared in “This Season is a “Destiny Turn’“), I knew the Spirit was saying once again, The river is flowing. The tables are turning. Great change is coming. It is about to overtake you.

There was such an urgency to this feeling. Then I saw in the Spirit the River of Life flowing down a mountain. It was wending its way somewhere in haste. I felt specifically that its desire was to come to me, to come to all God’s people. I felt like some kind of magnet for this great river. But I didn’t know why.

Just imagine it. It’s the “calm before the deliverance/delivery” as the Lord spoke to me recently. It’s that moment when all is quiet. Nothing seems to be happening, yet it is, in fact, a pause that is pregnant with purpose. Although everything is very quiet right now in the natural, something is moving in the heavenly realm. And it’s not just moving, it is plowing its way down the mountain and ready to overtake you!

Brace Yourself

Yesterday, twice within a few short minutes, I heard, “Brace yourself.” I was in the middle of something at that time, so when I heard this phrase a second time, I really stopped what I was doing to inquire. No one says, “brace yourself” unless something BIG is coming.

So, I asked the Lord rather nervously, “Um, what is getting ready to happen?” I knew it wasn’t bad but I knew it was nothing small either.

In a vision, I saw a HUGE wave coming toward me; in fact, I knew it was a tsunami! Only a few minutes before, I saw a post by someone on Facebook about “Possible Tsunami Information”. On July 12th, a 6.7 struck off the coast of Papua New Guinea. When the earth moves in that way, it can set off something else, like a tsunami. Just recently in a word, the Lord told me that as He sets us into our places, we will watch as “a chain of events unfold”. It is the same idea behind an earthquake that leads to a tsunami that then hits the land; one shift leads to another which leads to another.

But now this word and vision about a tsunami, only emphasizes the final magnitude of these individual shifts or chain of events in our lives. Furthermore, I have always linked a “tsunami movement of God”, either individually or corporately, to something that we cannot control, that will totally sweep us away, and that will forever change the landscape of our lives. The last time I had this type of vision of a tsunami, it was directly after God had radically touched my life during a worship service. He encountered me in such a way that His power and love not only touched me but radically altered me. As many warnings as I got before it happened, I could never have expected an experience like that! And yes, it changed and continues to change the landscape of my life, and in an amazing way.

This Season is a “Destiny Turn”

The following is a Word of Comfort for those who may feel as though they are turning a corner and have had limited sight over their future. This is not unusual—God is about to do something new! If you have become weary in the waiting—hold on. God is moving whether we realize it or not!

I was listening to the Piano Guys, a song called “Begin Again”. This was quickened to me because I had just watched a video recently by a Facebook friend of mine; she wrote a beautiful tune on the piano for this past New Year’s called “New Beginnings”. The Lord really spoke to me through it, for a “new beginning”, “fresh start”, and “fresh page” has certainly been a word in season!

As I got up to grab a bite to eat, I suddenly heard intercessions in the heavenlies with a melody that was similar to the notes of “Begin Again”. Swept up by the song and the words I heard in the spirit, I began singing along to it:

I will not be moved
I will not be overcome
Create in me a clean, clean heart

In the midst of singing these words over and over in a variety of combinations, I heard the Lord say, “Heads over tails.” I got the impression that the time has come for a reversal of fortunes (Psalm 126:4). It saw this like a coin being flipped over from tails to heads. This felt like a coin flip at the beginning of a football game that is meant to determine who has control of the ball. I knew that the decision was being overturned. I sensed now the Lord has decreed that there are those who have been like Josephs and have lived for a long time as “the tail”; He will now make them the head. And as for their enemies who have been the head and have pursued them relentlessly, God has now ordained that they will be the tail.

Deuteronomy 28:13 (NKJV) “And the LORD will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you today, and are careful to observe them.
